Dear Applicants,

It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to Thessaloniki 2024. Our theme, “Harbour of Innovation: Facilitating a Human - Centred Digital Transition and Fostering Youth Employability”, sets the stage for an inspiring session where we will explore the intersection of technology and humanity, focusing on empowering the next generation.

In a world where rapid digital advancements shape our daily lives, it is essential to ensure these changes benefit everyone, fostering inclusivity and enhancing opportunities for youth. This session is dedicated to harnessing innovation to facilitate a human - centred digital transition. We aim to address the unique challenges and opportunities presented by the digital era, inspiring participants to engage actively, take meaningful actions within their communities, and share their insights, driven by the momentum we create together.

As the President of Thessaloniki 2024, my vision for the Vice-Presidents is to foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where every team member feels valued and empowered. Our approach will be grounded in open communication, mutual respect, and shared goals. I am convinced that each member brings immense value, and I will encourage you to utilise your skills fully, providing you with the autonomy to innovate and present new ideas.

By emphasising a culture of continuous learning and innovation, we will create a dynamic space where personal and professional growth stand at the forefront. In particular, this vision translates into three main pillars that will guide our work:

1. Collaborative Leadership

In our team, every opinion will matter. We will nurture an environment where each voice is heard, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility. This collaborative approach will ensure that every Vice-President can contribute their unique perspectives and ideas, enriching our collective efforts. By valuing each member’s input, we will create a space where creativity and innovation can thrive.

2. Personal Growth and Development

Every individual has their own pace and areas of interest, and I am committed to supporting each Vice-President in their personal growth and development. This session will provide the freedom to explore and work on projects that resonate with your passions and strenghts. I aim to be a facilitator in your journey, offering guidance, sharing experiences, and providing continuous, honest feedback to help you reflect and grow. Encouraging individuality and fostering personal growth are at the heart of this session.

3. Fun and Wellbeing

Finally, I want Thessaloniki 2024 to be a joyous and memorable experience for everyone. Creating a comfortable and judgement-free environment is essential to me. ensuring your physical and mental well-being throughout the session and before. There will always be opportunities for breaks, bonding, and enjoyable activities. I want you to leave this session with not only new skills and knowledge but also fond memories and lasting friendships.

With this vision, I am seeking three (3) Vice-Presidents who are eager to learn, have fun, and make the most of Thessaloniki 2024! If this vision resonates with you, I am thrilled to read your applications and embark on this exciting journey together!
